As an experienced Hypnobirthing teacher and hypno-psychotherapist specialising in perinatal mental health, I bring together practical hypnobirthing tools, a deep understanding of birth physiology, and compassionate, personalised support. What Is Hypnobirthing?
Hypnobirthing is a childbirth education method that teaches expectant parents how to use deep relaxation, guided breathing, visualisation, and positive mindset tools to approach labour with confidence and calm. At its core, it aims to reduce fear and tension, allowing your body to respond more effectively to the natural process of birth.

Hypnobirthing is rooted in the understanding that fear can lead to tension, and tension may intensify pain and trigger stress-based hormonal responses. By calming the nervous system and reducing fear, hypnobirthing supports your body’s innate ability to work with labour rather than against it.

The Poppy & Jack Hypnobirthing Method goes deeper. Alongside practical hypnobirthing techniques, we explore the physiology of birth, the mechanics of the birthing body, and the vital role of movement in labour. Suitable for both first-time parents and those expanding their family, this 6-hour course offers an opportunity to explore both the physical and emotional aspects of birthing, empowering you with knowledge and tools to feel more confident, prepared, and in control of your birthing experience.

The Calm Mama Refresher Course

A private session designed to revisit and reinforce the Hypnobirthing tools you’ve already learned. Perfect for parents who have completed a Hypnobirthing course in a previous pregnancy, this 3-hour refresher invites you to reflect on your past experience, explore what matters most to you as you prepare for this birth, and reconnect with relaxation and grounding techniques.
